Widgetbucks now moving to stop non-North American traffic of publishers from being paid?

I was going through blogs and I got into Darren’s post about Widgetbucks here. Though the move is sad news to international bloggers like me, whose main traffic isn’t usually from North America, I do understand their move to give their advertisers the clicks that they want.

Its good thing as well that I have taken out Widgetbucks out of my blogs early on. I used to have it running here and in Whimsicalidocious, but when it slowed down my site and it made it freeze, I decided having my site running faster and properly is worth more than the few cents I can earn through the program. I know they updated and improved the widget to help avoid the problems on site loading encountered by publishers, but I chose not to put it back since it was too flashy in my eyes. I can’t stand much flashing in the pages I read so I took it out.

Oh well, it will take such a long time before I can meet the $50 minimum threshold before I can receive payment, so I’d rather not put them back now that it will take even more time before I can get more North American traffic visiting here.
