Spam me much?
November 8th, 2009
I graduated last October (though my transcript says it was September because the term ended then) so I am starting to look for a job or a career. I added my resume to online job sites like Jobstreet and JobsDB and have been receiving emails and text notifications from them. Although this past week I’ve been getting too much text spam from Jobstreet. I think they’re using a mass notification system to inform every applicant in their database about their 4 call center in a day program. I need to unsign from it because I really am not looking for a job in the call center industry at the moment.
Torn between two phones.
July 3rd, 2009
I need a new mobile phone. My old phone is starting to deteriorate in terms of performance. I can’t blame it. I’ve had it for more than 5 years now. Lol. I’m trying to save up for a new phone (I’m saving uo for lots of things these days…) and I’m a bit torn choosing which to save up for. I’m in love with the business phones of Nokia since I’d be using my phone more for organizing my schedules/deadlines and accessing the internet to check my emails, blogs, arts and other things.
I’m liking the IPhone as well though. I was even looking at some iphone accessories earlier. Though its hefty price tag is really putting me off. I really wished electronic gadgets were cheaper here in our country. I can even get a new desktop to bring when I move to Manila.
Nuphedra?
June 10th, 2009
I was going over some review sites and forums and I saw something about Nuphedra. I think this is the first time I saw it. I wonder if there’s anyone I know who has already tried it. I can’t help look and read reviews about weight loss stuff. It can get addicting sometimes comparing what each site says about a certain product. That’s why I wanted to try Hydroxycut before. I know there were a bit of bad things said about ephedra which is one of its main ingredients but you can see and hear people swear by it. xD I’m not easily swayed by what I see on the internet, rather I try to find more information by searching for good and bad keywords for these products and see what people has to say. I like hearing both the pros and cons and then deciding for myself.
So in case you wanted to read some of those nuphedra reviews, you can try visiting their site and then find more information about them.
I always like having many products to choose from. I can find which one would suit me best that way.
Virtual games, again.
April 28th, 2009
Since I’m not doing anything for summer, I’ve gotten into the habit of playing any interesting virtual game I bump into. I’ve recently been playing again Facebook’s Pet Society, Restaurant City and Farm Town. I’ve also gotten hooked again with Pony Island. I tried LDW’s Virtual Families a couple of days ago but I only played it for the 1 hour free trial. I don’t have extra funds yet to get the game.
Right now we have two computers at home, a desktop pc and an old battered laptop that was lent to Dad by his boss. *LOL* And Dad broke the wifi adapter that I purchased for it. So right now we’re having a hard time using the laptop because we need to use the only other available alternative which is my 3 meter rj45 (commonly know as ethernet cable). So instead of being able to work in the dining room or in their bedroom, we have to place a table on the corridor and have the laptop wired to the router. >.< I definitely need to save up for my own netbooks since Dad’s laptop is pretty much useless for me without the adapter. We already have free wi-fi back at the university so I can really benefit having my own netbook. I can easily research for my classes by accessing the library information through the wi-fi network and I can modify documents that I need to pass for class. I can easily have it printed inside the university especially since we have low-priced printing there because of the student cooperative.
Squidoo, squido-doo.
April 25th, 2009
My friend was asking for help earlier with regards to lens creation in Squidoo. She needed it for her work and had no idea how to use it. I had forgotten I created a lens there before. Of course I never did publish it since it was still under construction. Maybe I’ll give it another try when my brain doesn’t hurt so much from thinking. Its quite a good source for ideas and Colonix reviews. I might even try and use it once I get active in affiliate marketing. But then those are simply “if’s”. I get tired often and all I want to do is sleep so I might not have much time for it. xD
