Yes. I wear glasses. Being online and on the computer for more than 12 hours a day means I need one to protect my eyes and it helps ease my headaches. I was trying to see what are the new styles for glass frames these days when I saw one of the Best Thing Found: Zenni Optical who offers a huge selection of frames (heh, much better than my own optometrist). They offer Zenni Optical $8 Rx Glasses which is really way to cheap compared to my boring one that I got a couple of months ago which I broke yesterday. It really is aGreat Discovery: Zenni Optical maybe if they start a franchise here I can get some for myself.

Okay, its a bit annoying when I do lose some weight since I have stretch marks. I’ve been looking for a stretch mark cream for such a long time but I get discouraged to try them because many people say it doesn’t work. I know I should have been more careful not to scratch myself to prevent stretch marks but I just can’t help doing so sometimes. Lol. Besides, there is no use fretting about it now. Its not like feeling sorry nor annoyed at myself will help get those unsightly stretch marks I got for not being careful with my skin. I did some looking around the net to see what creams might be available to help diminish the marks a bit (if not completely heal and regenerate) or maybe lighten it a bit so it isn’t that noticeable. I saw someone mention revitol stretch mark cream though I’m not sure if that is available here in our country already. Does anyone know? Or maybe has anyone tried it already? Asian skin can be different compared to our western counterparts so I wanted to know if someone else here has experienced using it and if it did work. If it does, I can ask my aunt in the US to maybe grab one for me.

Its 2008 and I’m back from my holiday break. Wheee, last December 31st we had a bit if an emergency so we all rushed back to Cubao on my dad’s side of the family and spent the New Year there. We went back here in Batangas around 5am on January 2nd.

My classes will be starting next week, since its already the 3rd term in DLSU. However, I might be taking another leave of absence from the university. Read the rest of this entry »

I miss my friend. I haven’t heard from her for a really long time. Last time I heard from her she was still in Washington DC, and she has moved in with another Filipino family where she is renting a room after she moved from Maryland where her aunt lived. Back on the 25th, we had a family reunion on my Dad’s side. One of the topics talked about during the family discussions was the courses we (the younger Catbagan generation) took for college.
