Buy back book campaigns.

December 26th, 2009

Back in college, we used to sell back our textbooks to one of the student council departments who buy and sell used textbooks from students each term. It was a good way to enable students to buy used textbooks they need for the term cheaply, and sell them back after the term so other students can use them too. It helps lessen our expenses and it helps us lessen our unused textbooks that lay unused at home. When we sell books everyone benefits.

I need another miracle. :P

I got one of my miracles earlier when I finally confirmed that I will be graduating on October 10. Now the miracle I need is to lose a little weight before it because I need to wear a dress for the commencement exercises. I don’t think there are diet pills that can make me lose a lot of weight less with less than a month before the event, so I am hoping I can get a great dress that wouldn’t make me look even bigger.

I haven’t worn a dress in years. I’ve been wearing jeans/slacks for most of my life since I gained a lot of weight so wearing a dress is quite daunting to me. T_T

Graduation here I come!

Just finished adding the revisions and additional information that weren’t included earlier. Hopefully everything will be finished and reviewed by tomorrow and then printed and ring-binded for submission. I need some sleep and tomorrow I have to finish the reviewer requirement for Entepol plus start reviewing for my Entepol exam. -brain melts into a puddle-

Yup, were finally done with the exporting rattan furniture to the UK and we have passed the soft copy of the edited paper to our professor. Hopefully everything works out with that paper and that we all pass INTERBU. I want to be able to get my own rattan furniture when I get my own house. They’re really pretty and elegant. I can picture my bathroom with stone sinks and mirrors with rattan edges, a pillowed-seat made with rattan where I can relax and read a magazine while I wait for my bath water to get warm. but before I lose myself in my daydreaming, i better get back to my INTLMGT paper. I have to compile the parts we did and then send it to Bern for the final check before she burns it on the CD together with the interview. *woot* Wish us luck!
