Since I’m not doing anything for summer, I’ve gotten into the habit of playing any interesting virtual game I bump into. I’ve recently been playing again Facebook’s Pet Society, Restaurant City and Farm Town. I’ve also gotten hooked again with Pony Island. I tried LDW’s Virtual Families a couple of days ago but I only played it for the 1 hour free trial. I don’t have extra funds yet to get the game.
Right now we have two computers at home, a desktop pc and an old battered laptop that was lent to Dad by his boss. *LOL* And Dad broke the wifi adapter that I purchased for it. So right now we’re having a hard time using the laptop because we need to use the only other available alternative which is my 3 meter rj45 (commonly know as ethernet cable). So instead of being able to work in the dining room or in their bedroom, we have to place a table on the corridor and have the laptop wired to the router. >.< I definitely need to save up for my own netbooks since Dad’s laptop is pretty much useless for me without the adapter. We already have free wi-fi back at the university so I can really benefit having my own netbook. I can easily research for my classes by accessing the library information through the wi-fi network and I can modify documents that I need to pass for class. I can easily have it printed inside the university especially since we have low-priced printing there because of the student cooperative.
