I’ve been back at work for the last week and life has changed from serene into hectic and complex again. I barely slept and I was only able to actually go online just now to check my emails for messages from friends and other interesting things new on the world wide web. With Christmas coming up, I’ve started thinking about spending on something I really want as a gift to myself. I want to be able to get something from my salary before I stop working again (because I have to go back to school really soon to finish my remaining subjects).
Being busy at work means I can’t go out and window shop like I used to do before on my free time, so lately I’ve opted to do my window shopping at home. I tend to search online for new gadgets and for store specials since many online shops do that when they have a sale ongoing. I spotted one items I wanted for this Christmas which is not related to baking. xD I found a Western Digital Elements 640GB USB 2.0 External Hard Drive which I think is a good gift for myself because I need so much storage for my files. Having an external drive where I can port my files will make it easier for me to have it ready anytime I need it. I wish I had one before my desktop flopped because right now everything important to me is saved on my broken desktop. If I had an external drive, I wouldn’t have so much problems trying to find out how I can get my stuff from the desktop until it gets fixed by a technician because don’t have tools at home to fix it. >.>
Hopefully I get some extra if the company decides to give us Christmas bonus. If I do, the external hard drive is at the top of my list. Our wave is a bit of addicted to pictures so we have so much of them and I need some place to store those eh?
