I haven’t had time to learn another recipe to try. I don’t even think I have the time with my current schedule. My life is currently, work-eat-sleep-bath-work-eat-sleep-bath-work. I’m missing the huge amount of idle time I had back when I wasn’t working still. Before I can bake anytime I want to bake. These days, I can’t even get my eyes open long enough to open the oven when I get home. Hopefully my shift schedule stays the same because if that’s the case, I’ll be home on Christmas Eve as well as New Year. I’m the one in-charge for our meals during these times so I handle everything in the kitchen and our dining room. Hopefully, I can make all the things I want to make for that like the egg nog recipes I found earlier. It might be interesting for our family to start a new tradition. :)

When duty calls…

September 30, 2008 · Filed Under Random Ramblings, Work Thoughts · Comment

My teammates and I were joking about requesting seats that has built-in toilets with them. Sunday night when my shift started, I had to sit for more than 4 hours straight because it was queuing. Its actually hard to squeeze in a personal break because the calls just came in so fast. Lol. Someone mentioned we should get an adult diaper for each of us so that we can pee in case we really need to pee and were still on a call. -sigh- I only experienced wearing one back when I had my appendix taken out when I was in highschool still. Wearing one isn’t comfortable for me because I’m the kind who can’t sit still when I’m wearing a liner or a pad. :D

No time for other things

I’ve been so busy at work (I wake up at 2 am, take a bath, get picked up by the tricycle at 2:45am, then ride the shuttle at 3am then arrives at the site at 3:20am, eats breakfast until 3:40, goes to the washroom for 15 minutes, then heads onto the meeting room for our pre-shift meeting scheduled at 4am everyday, then 5am we start work then we finish at 2pm if we don’t get extended calls then we go and have a post-shift meeting, then I get home around 6pm) that I haven’t done other things apart from sleeping and waking up for work. >.< We are officially done with the bridge process tomorrow so we will start working in production on Sunday. No day-off for us. Grrrrrrrr. Oh well.

I'll just console myself by looking at these Beautifeel shoes.

Might try some pill thingy.

September 22, 2008 · Filed Under Family Stuff · Comment

One of my Mom’s friends recommended a pill or a supplement (I really can’t remember which) and I might try it depending on what the results other people are getting from it. I’m fine with the skin I have at the moment but I am not against taking anti-oxidants to help my body better. I’ll have to check them out later when she visits us and I’ll have to decide which one to take. I’m trying to be safe so I don’t want to take many pills because I still take some pills for my headaches (they still haunt me at times). I don’t want to get addicted to any pills. I can’t afford checking in a drug treatment center, besides Dad would go berserk. Lol. I have no desire to be the first in the clan to take a drug treatment. I’m the eldest and I do want to set a good example to the young ones.

After a hectic week from bridge (well we still have this week left before we hit production), I finally had enough rest to get a decent amount of shuteye. After our shift ended at 2pm last Saturday, the team dispersed to prepare for our teambuilding which will be held in Shercon/Siercon (I forgot the spelling…). We were to meet up in Robinsons again around 6pm. So I joined the group that was assigned in buying the things needed from the market then we headed over to Reggie’s house to prepare them. We left Rob around 7pm so we got to Siercon/Shercon around 8pm already.

The place was really good, it wasn’t as fabulous as a Mykonos villa rentals could have been but it was beautiful enoughfor me. We paid 5k for the hut and entrance (We were 20) and we stayed there until 9am. I haven’t uploaded the pictures yet since my desktop is literally dead (Its my memory I think because I still get beeps if I take it off my MoBo) and I can’t use the laptop for it because I don’t want to fill it with our teams pictures and videos. Since some are for private eyes only. Lol.
