How many mp3 players do you own?

Personally, I have 3 MP3 players already, not including phones that can play mp3 files. And if you look at that link I’m wanting one of those small and heap Sandisk shaker player too… My sisters have their own as well. I really can’t use them all at the same time which leads me to wonder how other people use all of their duplicate items. I know I should let go of them but sometimes its easier said than done. Its quite hard letting go of stuff especially things that you’ve accumulated through the years. Kuya Acid mentioned something in his plurk a few days ago about people cutting down their stuff to 100 items which I know for a fact I couldn’t do given that I’ve just started baking and my love for books.

Like Kuya Acid, I don’t really think I can cut it down unless I lump all my books as 1 item. I also have all these magazines and other random literary stuff (some might say junk) that I plan on packing in when I finally get my own home. Plus I can’t seem to get rid of my old albums which Mom has compiled back when digital cameras where still non-existent. As for clothing, I can get by with around 2 shorts, 2 pajamas, 5 pairs of jeans, 10 t-shirts, 1 black slacks, 1 white collared top, 2 brassieres top but it would be a bit hard to put a cap on panties (I was asking my bestfriend Les if she knew a much more formal word than that one but she couldn’t come up with one other than underwear at the moment so there) . Seriously. I haven’t met someone who has less than a dozen of them.

Maybe the 100 items can be realized for other people. I surely hope I get the guts to do it in the future. For now, I’d have to lug all the items I own which I estimate to be more than a thousand if we had to resort to counting each one piece by piece. (Is my grammar even correct? Lol.)

    Grabe. You should have seen me packing my stuff when i moved to California. Had to let go of a lot of things, but not as extreme as having just 100 items. With books, CDs, computer gear and musical gear, I’m done for!

    I don’t have a stand-alone MP3 player yet (though I’m planning to buy one soon), my fone player is adequate enough for my “de-stressing via music” needs. :-)

    Limiting one’s personal effects to 100 items? Great idea that one!
