Hollow Vanity

January 28, 2008 · Filed Under Random Ramblings

Speaking of another Manhattan plastic surgery, isn’t it unusual that people nowadays are really into plastic or cosmetic surgery? Each year (months even) more technology and procedures are being found by the cosmetic surgery industry. It almost seems like everything about us is wrong. You nose needs fixing, your ears need a nip and tuck there, you’re chin’s too flabby, your thigh is so ugly, your lips need more pucker, and the list goes on. Since when did everyone become so imperfect that we want to change who we are?

No matter what changes you do on the outside it will never be enough if you’re worse than a rotten fish inside. No matter how hard you try to fix everything outside nothing will ever work because deep inside which is the foundation of oneself, everything is spiraling downward. Like being sucked in a whirlpool and you can’t do anything to keep everything together.

Once you’re hollow inside, the outside doesn’t matter.
