My Fun Packed 2007 Holidays :)
Thanks to everyone who greeted me a Merry Christmas through text, email, instant messenger and through the comments here. 
By the way, I have to remember to send Taroogs a message so I can send him the prepaid load. Haha, whew. I haven’t blogged for a few days since back here at home, the holidays is quite longer than those in other places. We have the town fiesta on the 27th so people aren’t really back in the normal non-holiday mood yet, and we still have the new year coming up soon. So to remember this year’s celebrations, I’m going to write about it and compare it to next years. LOL.
Okay, so this year Me, Mom, Angel and Jed went to Citimart on the 23rd and bought all the stuff for our Noche Buena. Early 24th, Mom and Dad bought the other ingredients we for got to grab since lots of ingredients weren’t available anymore at Citimart. I made the fruit salad early, so it will get cold and perfect by the time midnight hits. This year the menu consisted of Creamy Fettucine Carbonara, the Meaty Spaghetti, Mashed Potatoes, Roasted Chicken, Smoked Ham, Chocolate Mousse Cake, Vegetable Salad and the Deep Fried Ham and Cheese Rolls. There were other stuff on the table as well like fruits and other stuff. Lol.
So gifts were opened, and as usual Dad had the most gifts which came from their students back in Kennedy. Mom got some bustiers from one friend, we got some little trinkets and quite a bit of chocolates. We slept around 2am because we had to go to Cubao early on the 25th since we were having a bit of a reunion on Dad’s side of the family. I don’t have the pictures ready yet so I’ll post them later. We had lots of food and laughter there. The lechon was ransacked, nothing much was left of it after we all had our take on it. Haha. We left there around 7pm since we had to go back to Batangas. We commuted and rode a bus from Alimall. We got back around 9.30pm and we were all tired and sleepy.
This year we opted not to have a feast for the fiesta so we didn’t have much visitors over. Mom wasn’t feeling so well so we just thought we’d do it next year. I just came from our neighbor’s house actually since we had dinner there. Lol. We have the village’s post-Christmas party on the 29th so we still aren’t done with the holiday feasts. I was told of the HS batch reunion in DLSL this 30th and if Les would come, I might go as well. Then we have the New Year celebration after that and then its back to school.
