Island filled with Nature and History

Have you ever heard of Amelia Island? I haven’t and this is actually the first time I did and what I found out made me fall in love with it instantly. As I read more about the island, the more my interest on visiting increased. I promised myself once I finally get that Visa, Amelia Island will be one of the places I will visit on my trip to the United States.

They currently have a Lodging Special wherein you can get an extra night for free if you book 2 nights! If only I am able to fix all my documents for my visa before their promo ends, I’d definitely grab that opportunity. I definitely want to go around their historical district and check out the Victorian structures they have, and take a picture or two of me in it. I’d love to try out their bed and breakfast inns as well, haha I only see those on movies back here in our place.

If you love nature, you can enjoy several outdoor activities such as hiking, biking and bird watching. The island is also home to wonderful creatures such as sea turtles, armadillos, bobcats as well as alligators. Exotic flora such as the Sea Lavender, Sea Oat and Live Oak also thrives in the area. They also have several nature tours available which any nature lover like me, will definitely love.
