Investing on a treadmill…

The other day I was watching Extreme Makeover (its a rerun I think) and there was a house where they had made an exercise room. I’ve been so some houses of well-off people that I know, and having fitness equipment at home isn’t that ordinary here in our country. One reason I can think of would be the extremely high prices of these equipments.

A treadmill costs around P20k I think, at least thats what we’ve been told before when we asked for quotes. A new gym here in our place had bought all their equipments from the US. So if converted into pesos, it costs even more. But when you’re starting a gym, you really have to spend on the quality of your equipment so your business can use it for a much longer time.

Mom is really interested on investing on a treadmill because of Dad and me. It will help in my weight loss if I take enough time to use it I suppose. Dad has all these problems, and the doctor wants him to have regular exercise as well. But since he can’t do it away from home since he has to go into the office early, and go home late, it would be best to have it at home.
