So I was having a bit of small talk with a friend and our conversation turned into my internet connection. v.v Ugh, she knows that I’m a wee bit stuck on dial-up still since I still have a SmartBro issue at the moment. I’m really interested on getting broadband again soon since uploading and downloading is really a pain in dial-up.
I remembered that Sky offers cable internet back then, and our conversation into cable wires and she mentioned something about Cat6, something which is unknown to me, so we talked about something else. She’s currently on DSL, and I am thinking whether to get my SmartBro back when the issue with the bill is fixed, or whether to get it terminated and just opt for the DSL one.
I think in terms of reliability, the DSL one scores better. But since I’m thinking of mobility, the new plug-it version of SmartBro would be really good for me if I get a laptop. I don’t have to worry about internet connectivity because I can bring it with me with the USB dongle. Maybe I can get the current contract terminated, and get the new one with the dongle. I prefer having it available on the go rather than stick with the canopy one. But then, I don’t know if the connection with the USB dongle is as crappy as the canopy one.
