What is ThemePassion.com and Myspace.Widgebucks.com?

This is freaky.
I was checking my spam comments and I saw that there were two trackbacks from these sites. Here’s the screen shots for the dashboard as well as the posts itself:
Though they link back to my articles, the one in ThemePassion changed my name into Veronica Khokhlova. I don’t know her at all. Lol. -sigh- I was so surprised that I disturbed and pm’ed Pao to ask what those sites were. I’m not familiar with scraping so I was really surprised when I saw it.
Bummer.

something similar happened to me too. meron akong isang entry about cosmetics na lumitaw sa isang site din. they’re using rss feeds to re-publish an entry. shocking di ba?
nakakabuwisit ang naging latest development ngayon ng internet, madaming fraud.
siyanga pala nika, up to date pa ba yong theme project mo? may time na ako ngayon.

Similar thing has been happening to me too lately, isn’t it wierd??!! It’s supposed to be happening to lots of people. I had heard of scraping but I didn’t think it happened like that…

@clairec23: Me too. I thought scraping was either taking your whole content, or spinning it and changin some words but not the rss feeds. -sigh-

i’ve got lots of it everyday. basta magpost ako ng bago with popular keywords such as youtube, yahoo, google, makikita ko na lang yung akismet logs ko, tambak ng ganyan. I just delete them. hehehe. basta don’t link back to them, hayaan nyo sila.
