Hahaha, finally we won’t hear another sermon from one of our early professors tomorrow regarding losing another game to Ateneo. DLSU Green Archers win with 65 points against Ateneo Blue Eagles’ 60 points.

My sister being able to get some tickets from her friends, went to Cubao earlier to join them, while our whole family stayed at home and watched the game in my parents bedroom. We were all cheering and screaming for La Salle, but it was mom who was cheering the most. Hahaha.
Oh well, I guess everything will be going back to normal in school now since the tension caused by the uncertainty of the men’s basketball team making it into the finals has now dissipated. So the scalpers still have a business for the next few games since students from the campus would still be interested. Heh.
P.S. When Ateneo was able to shoot another 3 points a few seconds before the clock, I seriously felt scared that it would be a repeat of the last game’s ending. Fortunately the team was able to shoot some more to compensate for it.

oh wow, you watched it live? my brother would’ve wanted to watch that live, but we had to go to church, and i think the tickets were sold out. he’s a die-hard archers fan. I’m from UP myself so i don’t mind whoever wins, but i’m rooting for the archers too.for my brother. haha.
same here, pao, i’m also from UP so i’m not that biased toward either la salle or ateneo (have good friends ang kababatas from both univs)… still, history was very much on the archers’ side

Sadly, I didn’t have a ticket so I watched with our family at home. Yup tickets were sold out, its a great day for scalpers when its a La Salle – Ateneo game especially deciding games like this since students really shell out big bucks to get tickets when its scarce. The rivalry in men’s basketball between our schools really gives araneta an income boost since supporters really fill up the place.
@Taroogs: Hehehe. At times its weird since most don’t really care if we lose to other schools as long as its not Ateneo.

kongrats po, miss nika, sa sweep ng DLSU sa UE… kahit hindi ganun ka-sarap yung victory (kasi hindi Ateneo ang na sweep ninyo sa Finals). hehehe… so it’s gonna be a green Christmas, i assume, for you guys at Taft?

We’ve been having lots of celebrations back in school nga after we won. Hopefully next year ganun din. xD
