A shameless plug for my recently created A View From Somewhere Photo Blog.
I’ve been taking lots of random pictures since I got my camera last year. Its just a simple point and shoot (Canon IXUS 800) one which my mom bought for me for my school needs. I posted some of them before (mostly cloud images) in my deviantart account. Recently, I’ve been interested in taking more pictures of random things I see during my commute from Batangas to Taft. So some of my pictures there were taken while I am inside a bus either on my way to school, or on my way home.
I also have been interested in macro photography. 
Just simple ones that my camera can handle. My favorite subjects would be the sky and nature. I haven’t taken much cloud pictures lately because my camera works best with nearer subjects especially since I only have 6 mega pixels. Most of the macro images in the photoblog were taken in our small garden. I still have a lot of images to upload, but I am trying to choose among them the best ones I took (at least in my opinion, hehe) so I can save some space in my hosting.

That is really an interesting hobby, Nika… and profession too. I also took shots of flowers and had been chasing insects since the heydays of the film camera pa. Keep it up!

Naku pangarap ko din ang DSLR, pero hanggang paglalaway lang muna ako. Hindi pa kaya ng bulsa ang presyo. 
uy dimo na naitatanong mahilig din ako sa photography niks, yun nga lang photography ang walang hilig sa’kin.
